SELARC Registration 2018

The 2018 Southeastern Liberal Arts Research Conference (SELARC) is scheduled for April 13, 2018 and will be held at the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts Humanities at Pebble Hill at Auburn University. Presentations on our theme, “Representation and Embodiment: Studies in Culture, Power, and Citizenship,” will explore the intersections between issues of power, representation, and identity across the disciplines.

This year’s conference will feature a keynote address from Dr. James Smethurst of the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Dr. Smethurst specializes in African American literature and culture and is a Professor and Graduate Program Director in the W.E.B. Du Bois Department of Afro-American Studies.

Lunch and light breakfast refreshments will be provided to presenters and registrants. A late registration fee of $10 dollars cash/check may be assessed for those registering after April 6.
